Citing improved efficiency and closer proximity to customers, Norgren Inc., is insourcing its distribution and moving the operation to Louisville, Ky. From this new location, more than 70 percent of orders will be in transit three days or less.
Norgren will begin shipping from its new Louisville distribution center by May 2012. Customers can continue to work as they always have with their current customer service representatives, but can now expect faster delivery and quicker response to changing requirements in most circumstances.
