WorleyParsons appointed Walter MacFarland as senior vice president, location manager for Eastern Operations. MacFarland has more than 40 years of operational and project management experience, covering a broad range of projects and market sectors including fossil and nuclear generating facilities, renewable energy and power networks. During his career, MacFarland has held executive management positions for operating utility companies, construction contractors and specialty consulting practices.
He has demonstrated leadership in developing sustained growth plans, operational effectiveness and building strong customer relationships. In addition to key positions in the power industry, MacFarland also has worked within the hydrocarbons and infrastructure sectors including both public and private sectors.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a master’s degree from Widener University and is a registered professional engineer.
