Spectro Inc., a provider of instrumentation and software for machine condition monitoring and preventive maintenance, appointed Brian Mitchell as president and CEO.
Mitchell is a 30-year veteran in the optical instrumentation industry and previously worked as president and CEO of Polychromix, a developer and manufacturer of material analysis and chemical sensing products. Mitchell played a key role in the growth and development of Polychromix, which was successfully sold to Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2010. Prior to Polychromix, Mitchell served Aeroflex Inc. as executive vice president and COO of the Microelectronic Solutions Group.
