Achieve best performance standards with a Nationwide Boiler BPS solution

Increasing boiler efficiency is not only a major method of reducing operational costs, but also an effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Nationwide Boiler Inc. continues to raise the bar with Best Performance Standards (BPS) solutions for gas-fired boilers. A BPS solution delivers the lowest NOX emissions possible and contributes to substantial energy efficiency gains and optimum equipment performance.

The core of a BPS Solution is a CataStak™ Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system with patent pending NOX reduction control system technology. The CataStak™ SCR system has been applied to more than 90 demanding package boiler and gas-turbine applications, each meeting or exceeding initial emission guarantees. When coupled with a standard no FGR, low excess air burner, the CataStak™ SCR system can help minimize FD power consumption by eliminating the need for oversized fans, often associated with ultra-low NOX burners. When compared to less stable and limited turndown ultra-low NOX burners, Nationwide’s CataStak SCR system delivers NOX emission reductions as low as 2.5 ppm with improved flame stability and efficiency.

For maximum heat recovery of stack temperatures to 250°F or lower, an extended surface EconoStak economizer or an EconoStak Plus condensing unit are available for efficiency of 90 percent or greater. By capturing and transferring the heat of the flue gas to preheat make-up and/or feedwater back into the boiler, EconoStak economizers can easily improve the boiler’s overall efficiency and provide an immediate energy cost savings.

As the leader in CataStak SCR systems for package boilers, Nationwide’s BPS solutions deliver maximum efficiency and minimum emissions. Call Nationwide today to schedule a no obligation site visit, or e-mail info@nationwideboiler.com, to learn about the company’s total plant solutions.
