Blasch honors two employees for high achievement

Blasch Precision Ceramics presented achievement awards to two employees who attained excellence by exceeding sales goals in the fiscal year ending in February 2009.

Mickey Lavicska, director of Advanced Silicon Carbide Products, managed and achieved 171 percent of budget for fiscal year 2009, while attaining margin requirements, opening new markets, exceeding vendor commitments and adding another vendor/business partner. He is a veteran of the Marine Corps and holds both a B.S. and M.S. from SUNY College of Technology in Utica/Rome, NY. He has held positions in both Sales and Sales Management at the district and National Level previously at Divine Brothers, General Electric and Westinghouse Electric Distribution.

Jeffrey Bolebruch, senior market manager for Petrochemical and Chemical Process, achieved growth of overall sales by 39.4 percent through fiscal year 2008, including chemical process industry sales growth of 43.3 percent and sulfur ferrule and checkerwall sales growth of 40.1 percent. He is responsible for serving petrochemical and chemical process industries with Blasch's innovative, customized solutions for chemically difficult or high temperature applications. He holds a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Marist College.
